News: September 1, 2007 I haven't been on this site or doing anything related to brickfilming for quite some time. Not because I'm going to quit, but because I'm just lacking creativity at the moment. I also need inspiriation, I have been getting some from some fans and such, but most of it comes from what I think of and how I take the input people give to me. So far, I haven't taken it "good enough" to make more films/videos. Currently, I am doing soccer and it will continue to occupy most of my time until late November. To add to this nightmare, I am also a senior in highschool, that's right, TONS of homowork. Over the summer I did do some tests and you can see them at krueltest@youtube it's where I will post my tests and such. I don't know why I don't post tests on my main account so don't ask. Anyways, don't worry, I'm not quitting filming, I'm just taking a break/have been taking a break. March 6, 2007 Hey guys, I know you have all been waiting for me to make a film and to come out with something new, but things have been really hard for me these last couple of weeks. One week I was sick 4 days out of 4 days in a week, so I had and still have homework and tests to make up. Also I was suspended for two days the next week so I have extra work to make up. Don't worry though I have still have my legomen and set still up and it reminds me everyday that I need to continue filming. Keep messaging and commenting on my films though please! I need more views!!!I am also planning on making Counter-Brick ,u>MUCH longer and making a preview for Hans Cotman 2 as well in the next few months. Counter-Brick is going to be released in early May or maybe late April. No worries, it's going to be leet. Oh, I almost forgot, I just made a Metacafe account. The link to it is right here. If I get 20,000 views and have a rating of 3.00 or over on one of my films, I get $100 :D so watch and rate PLEASE!!! Thanks!!! -Johnny January 21, 2007 Alright, I have worked a little on my brickfilm, however, I haven't used my new camera yet because I am not quite sure how to make the resolution better :/. I got about 400 frames done today, maybe less. I was at a friends house the night before and I stayed up until 5 am and woke up at 10 am so yeah I am pretty tired. While I was at my friends house, his little brothers were watching my videos. I was like, "Hey that's my stuff!". They also got their legos and such and were talking about making a brickfilm with me later. It was pretty encouraging to see that some people like my movies like that. It makes me want to make more. Counter-Brick is gonna be off-da-rope. You can bet on it ;) -Johnny January 5, 2007 YES!!!!! I finally got my Logitech QuickCampro 4000 in the mail!!! What am I going to do now? Think again....Homework!!!! >:O I can't believe it either. It's almost the end of the semester and all of the teachers are cramming in everything they can into our heads before it's done. I want to die. But I want to brickfilm even more, so I'll stay alive ;) haha. Anyways, I uploaded some of my older videos on to my youtube.com account so go and check them out. Just keeping you in the know! -Johnny December 30, 2006 Hello everyone, I know you have been long anticipating my Counter strike brickfilm, but the truth is, I have been uber busy with school, family, and just plain laziness. Honestly though, I have a "raincheck" for a quickcampro 4000 which will make my picture much better. I will try to start filming when I get it. I go back to school on the 3rd :/ I know, harsh. And to make things worse, I have finals the next week :O SUCK!. So seriously, I will do what I can to film. But you all can do me a favor by telling people about it and anticipating it more and more. I am sorry it's taken me this long to do anything. No worries though, I will try to make it longer than I was planning on making it which will probably prolong the release even more. I am very tired, and I can't brickfilm on Sundays because I am not allowed any electronics on Sundays. Hopefully, however, I will be able to by the grace of my parents. It's been a fun weekend, I got a lot done on a brickfilm LONG overdue. It looks really good, I might work on it the next few days and make it even longer. I might even make a preview to make viewers more anticipating. I probably won't though, due to my laziness. Listen to this, I cancelled my current brickfilm, because it was taking wayyyy too long for me to even continue what I started, no worries, I will work on it in the future. I also stopped production because I had a brilliant idea for a "video response" on youtube.com to a movie called "Counter strike lego" to show that kid that I can make a better one than his ;P So it's not like I just quit all around. Keep your ear to the ground for updates on it! -J0hnny October 4, 2006 So, it's a four day weekend for a brickfilmer, and what am I supposed to do? BRICKFILM! I will be making my brickfilm ALL weekend. If you want to email me or something go ahead. It will probably take up whole weekend to make it and probably more. I wouldn't expect for it to be done after this weekend. Later! -Johnny September 12, 2006 Alright, well I think I am going to get back into the swing of things by making an update :). I haven't had much time to brickfilm lately because of settling into school and so forth. I am trying to take an animations class at a nearby college, to get some college prep. I am still working on Hans Cotman II but things are moving as fast as dial up because of the voice-actors. I am also working on a new "Dylan and Phil" brickfilm, it's going to be a longer one and will probably take me a few monthes to make it. Keep your ear to the ground for any more news! -Johnny |
